Once initiated, this system will produce the same results year after year with very little work on your behalf. 2 ingredients- Host Location & Advertising Sponsors First, a host business is needed. This is the location where the Tornado will stay and determines who may want to be advertised. The advertising sponsors are the other businesses who want to be promoted inside the host and give to your ministry need. To sweeten the deal for the host location, you can offer them a free ad on another Tornado you are placing. Here are 2 main ways to get the ball rolling: SOLO: If you are confident in obtaining a host & sponsors making a few phone calls, run with it. If you can see who is a perfect match and know they would love to be a part then show them the program. Ask one of the advertising sponsors and they most often will purchase the Coin Tornado for you. In this way, it costs you 0 dollars, is 100% risk free, and you raise a few thousand dollars instantly. Also keep in mind, this is money that will be generated every year from now on! What to charge for ads: Many times the host must place the table against a wall which limits you to 3 sides of exposure. The tables are 20" wide and 24" tall. Each side has plexi glass panels to protect information and accomodates four 8"X10" ads. This may be divided into two 11"X16", or one big poster at 16"X22".
Total Advertising income: $3,000 minimum (3 sides at $250 per 8X10) up to $8,000 max (charging $500 per 8X10 & using all four sides of the funnel table. Or you could charge $250 per spot but only good for 6 months to maximize revenue. We feel that $250 per 8X10 for 1 year is a good starting point, but you may want to check with other local advertising venues in your area. You probably have several members that own businesses. Consider those who have several hundred people passing through their establishment each day as excellent possible host locations. Normally they would be very happy to host a funnel. Consider other members that would benefit from an advertisement inside that host location.
